I had decent enough cardio, yet the adrenaline dump really made me feel like i was fighting for an hour.

I also didn’t pay attention to which had was the lead hand of my opponents.

It is tough Laird , and I really dont want to come across to Neil as if I`m suggesting just work through it , I have no idea how serious it is , or how emotionally difficult it must be to consider affecting his music/career .

I was told at about 21 I had to stop training , as my back was in bad shape , they basically wrote me off as for ever improving ……. It did improve , and very much because I didnt listen .

My thumb was destroyed , I broke the joint in a tournament , and got terrible medical advice , after it never healed they finally x ray , guess what it was far too late , and yes the Bushiken saved it , Van showed me to condition it and it`s as good as the other one now .

My wrists arent great I got some stress fractures , I work around them to a degree , I hate wrist locks , I`m carefull who I let at them , they are almost repaired again , I fractured a finger , hasnt been to bad …..

the thing is even if physically limited I`d just need to move and explore , and to be honest my method has changed to fit my body .

this is becoming more a thread about injurys and limitations and it`s good to explore IMHO .

I think it`s a noble thing to identify if also you`ve had enough , and the bodys paid the price ….. I love riding motorbikes , I dont strictly because I couldnt risk the injury and not be able to train ….. I think thas slightly paranoid but it`s a decision i`m comfortable with . I roll out the BSA maybe twice a year .

dont know how this is on topic , and sorry Neil it`s no help , but mate take care and time with your decision .[/quote:3aqur812]

How did it affect pressure testing/ competition?

Rick,JD, thanks for making me a skeptic again….

Without tactile contact, is it possible? Seems like one can’t.

How the hell do you judge distance without sight? Depth perception is awsome.
